LG and Evil Geniuses Take Us 'Inside the Minds' of Professional Esports Players
An exclusive four-part web series along with a live-streamed Twitch broadcast each week.
LG Electronics is teaming up with one of the biggest legacy Esports organizations in the world, Evil Geniuses, to deliver a first-of-its-kind behind the scenes look at the world of championship level gamers. Inside the Mind is a four-part web series that features top-ranked players including Tarik, Arteezy, HelloKittyRicki and FearItself. New episodes will drop every Thursday for four weeks, accompanied by a Twitch livestream of the players in-game action on the all-new LG UltraGear Gaming Monitors.
Inside the Mind will satisfy gamers worldwide with the most in-depth look at how the pros prepare and strategize prior to action while giving a glimpse at what it takes to compete and win at the highest level every day. “Like any elite competitor, the mentality and dedication of an Esports champion is inspiring,” says Peggy Ang, LG USA’s senior vice president of marketing. “This series provides a fascinating look into what drives them to reach the top of their sport.” Utilizing the LG UltraGear Gaming monitor, the Evil Geniuses players will walk us through their daily process and regimen for maintaining their A-game and share how they each got into gaming plus their personalized set-ups.
Accompanying the four-part web series, the Evil Geniuses pros will face off against opponents via weekly two-hour livestream events taking place on Twitch. Giveaways will be incorporated throughout, including the LG UltraGear monitors, customized jerseys from Evil Geniuses’ online shop and Twitch subscription “sub-bombs,” which reward both the pros, streamers and their fans all at once. The players will showcase not only their unique talents but also the portfolio of LG UltraGear world’s first 4K Nano IPS gaming monitors, featuring 1ms response time, 144hz and NVIDIA® G-SYNC® compatibility. “LG UltraGear not only provides an immersive, innovative gaming experience, but also allows gamers to stay in the flow state while performing at the highest level competitively,” says Ang.
