One Piece Receives Special Edition “Mugiwara Shichimi” Chili Spice Inspired by Luffy and Chopper
Inspired to enhance the kind of foods each character enjoys.
Long-established chili spice business Nemoto Hachimanya Isogoro has announced a special “Strawberry Nanami” pepper inspired by manga creator Eiichiro Oda‘s Straw Hats crew from One Piece. The 290-year old store blended pepper in the image of Straw Hats captain Luffy and the crew’s doctor Tony Tony Chopper. Luffy, being a lover of meat, has a crisp spice to his pepper blend, which utilizes yuzu fragrance and lemon to bring the flavor of beef, chicken, and pork.
The Chopper blend uses a mixture of various ingredients based on Manganji peppers as a Shichimi that can be used with sweets, which the character loves to eat. The Chopper blend with its use of Manganji peppers is a versatile spice that enhances the taste of foods from Japanese and Western dishes. The label also has a specially designed design for this collaboration, both of which feature Luffy and Chopper, respectively. In addition, related goods such as “DINEX” mugs, sacoche, and stickers will also be released.
These products are available at the HKDS Store before rolling out at “Strawberry” locations in September.
