Steve Aoki Debuts "Last of Me" Single featuring RUNN for 'Arknights Soundtrack'
The popular mobile game scores ‘Chapter 6 – Partial Necrosis.’
GRAMMY Award-winning producer Steve Aoki has teamed up with Arknights for a new collaborative soundtrack to the popular tower defense RPG created by Studio Montagne, Hypergryph. Over the weekend the duo premiered a music video for “Last of Me” featuring singer-songwriter RUNN. The visual was first played during the game’s recent half-year YouTube stream and hinted at a possible follow-up in the future.
Arknights recent foray into the music world began with American electronic dance music and DJ Bear Grillz’s “Save Us From Ourselves” followed by QUIX’s “Survive” reach released through Aoki’s Dim Mak Records. “Last of Me” serves as the official theme song for the game’s Chapter 6 – Partial Necrosis. Watch the animated video above and stay tuned for an upcoming merchandise collaboration between the two set to debut in the near future.
