COMME des GARÇONS has enlisted special goods from Cactus Plant Flea Market for its Dover Street Market outposts and now its affordable CDG sub-label is partnering with Cynthia Lu’s label for some timely tees. Launching just ahead of sunny weather, the duo have imagined a pair of graphic shirts emblazoned with CPFM’s signature illustrative flourishes.
Accompanying the recent CDG Spring 2020 deliveries, Cactus Plant Flea Market’s two exclusive T-shirts sport unmistakable prints atop neutral white bases. One shirt features CPFM’s double-eyed smiley face, complete with CDG branding, stars and “BE KIND” verbiage, while its counterpart boasts co-branding and even more direct calls to action. “GO BE KIND” and “GROW” text is laden atop colorful stylized suns to maximize the seasonal mindset.
CPFM’s collaborative tees will arrive on the Japanese CDG web store on May 7 for ¥11,000 JPY (approximately $100 USD), likely following suit on the Western CDG site shortly after.
Meanwhile, CPFM is reportedly cooking up two bespoke Nike Dunk Low sneakers.
