Apple Reportedly Releasing Keyboard & Built-In Trackpad Accessory for iPad Pro
Rumors speculate a late 2020 update.
Sources are reporting that Apple could be expected to update its iPad Pro with a keyboard and built-in trackpad accessory. According to reports in The Information, the new technology could be paired with the next-generation iPad Pro, which is reported to release in late 2020.
The news that Apple’s iPad Pro could become more user-friendly comes after its well-received mouse update back in 2019. If the built-in trackpad does release alongside a new device, it is said the two could become further aligned for increased usability, backed by a new iPad OS.
As The Verge states, the inclusion of a keyboard could see the iPad’s mouse support become a more integral part of the device, following a software update. For now, no official word has been announced by Apple, but stay tuned for updates as they unfold, particularly from its soon-coming WWDC 2020 conference.
In other news, Apple has announced that it is reopening factories in China despite Coronavirus fears.
