Moses Boyd Melds Jazz & Contemporary Influences in Debut Album 'Dark Matter'
With contributions from Four Tet, Oboyngjayar & more.

South London jazz drummer, producer and composer Moses Boyd has dropped his debut album, Dark Matters.
An amalgamation of jazz and the artist’s contemporary influences, the 10-track project offers a bold new musical tapestry that combines the raw energy of grime and afrobeats, the club rhythms of the London underground and Boyd’s jazz training. Following 2018’s collaborative Displaced Diaspora project, Dark Matters sees contributions from the likes of mentor Gary Crosby OBE, Oboyngjayar, Poppy Ajudha, Klein, Nubya Garcia, Joe Armon-Jones and Nonku Phiri.
Boyd is set to go on a European and UK tour in support of Dark Matters, performing in areas like Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam, Manchester and London from late February to March.
