Jack Harlow and Big Sean Join Forces for "Way Out"
Taken from Harlow’s debut album, ‘That’s What They All Say.’
Jack Harlow has enlisted Big Sean for his brand new single “Way Out,” set to appear on his upcoming album That’s What They All Say.
Produced by Jetsonmade, Jasper Harris and Heavy Mellow, Harlow revealed that the song came about when he asked Jetsonmade to push the tempo on his beats. “I was in love with the way he placed the high octave 808s. I recorded the hook really quickly, almost just as a careless idea,” he explained. “We saved the session and moved on right after I laid the chorus. The next day I came in the studio and the first thing my engineer Nickie did was press play on the idea and I fell in love with it. I really have to credit him for reviving the song.” Big Sean came into the picture after he DMed Harlow following the release of “Tyler Herro.” He continued, ”I pulled up to his house in LA a few days later and played him “Way Out.” He knocked out his verse right in front of me. As a longtime Big Sean fan, it’s an honor to have him be a part of my debut album.”
That’s What They All Say marks the Grammy-nominated rapper’s debut album and will feature guest appearances from the likes of Lil Baby, DaBaby, Lil Wayne, Bryson Tiller, Maroon 5’s Adam Levine and more.
