UNDERCOVER Revamps Classic Iconography to Celebrate 30th Anniversary
Limited edition “U”- and bear- branded items.

With a rare sale kicking off the festivities, UNDERCOVER is shifting into the holiday season with even more special events. This time, it’s a pre-order for the Japanese brand’s 30th anniversary apparel collection, a celebration of founder Jun Takahashi‘s third decade of being in the fashion business.
Comprising a slew of standards, the collection is packed with fan-favorite imagery, gently revised for the special event. Classic underlined “U” and bear graphics appear with “UNDERCOVER 30TH ANNIVERSARY” verbiage in versatile neutral tones throughout the range, occasionally bolstered by textural prints inside the oversized lettering and even a slick patent print available in both white and black. An extended coaches jacket is the offering’s most adventurous item, accompanied by long- and short-sleeved T-shirts, hoodies and matching tote bags
On November 20, the renovated Shinsaibashi Parco will host a pre-sale event for UNDERCOVER’s 30th anniversary range, before the goods go up for pre-order at UNDERCOVER’s international website and domestic stores, as well as at select stockists including Dover Street Market, which will release the collection on November 27.
More anniversary celebrations are going down elsewhere; Stüssy is commemorating its 40th with a series of top-shelf designer collaborations.
