adidas’ Blacked-Out D Rose 11 Is an Ode to “Sweet Home Chicago”
A sleek new colorway from the former Bulls point guard.

Derrick Rose’s new signature silhouette adidas D Rose 11, which debuted just two months ago, has been given a sharp makeover. The German footwear giant has opted for a sleek “Sweet Home Chicago” colorway this time to follow up from the silhouette’s first release.
Starting at the top of the shoe are thickly-padded collars that offer substantial ankle support. A large “adidas” logo is stamped in white at the tongue, followed by flecked laces that cover breathable Primeknit uppers. Three Stripes branding appears over adizero-coated sidewalls, while a tonal Rose motif is seen at the heel counter. Finishing off the shoe is a large gray midsole that’s been engineered with LIGHTSTRIKE cushioning technology — a slim TPU shank at the rear supports high-impact movement to enable better mobility.
adidas’ D Rose 11 “Sweet Home Chicago” is currently available on adidas UK’s website for £120 GBP (approximately $120 USD).
