Bandai Namco Entertainment has officially announced that Janemba — the main antagonist from Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn  — will be joining the franchise’s latest fighting game, Dragon Ball FigtherZ.

The evil demon will join the game’s roster of playable characters beginning August 8 as part of the title’s new FighterZ Pass 2 season. Much like its predecessor, the Pass 1, gamers can elect to either purchase individual characters from the new DLC or purchase the entire “Pass” for all six of the new characters. Those characters, aside from Janemba, include Broly, Gogeta, Goku, Jiren, and Videl. In case you missed it, the first season pass brought characters such as Bardock, Broly, Cooler, Vegito, Merged Zamasu, Base Goku, and Base Vegeta.

Dragon Ball FighterZ, which is available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC, has released an announcement trailer for the FighterZ Pass 2, which you can view above.

Elsewhere in gaming, an unopened copy of NES game Kid Icarus just sold for $9,000 USD on Heritage Auctions.
