adidas' ZX 4000 4D Gets Highlighter-Hued "Easy Mint" Makeover
The luminous offering will drop later this month.
adidas is continuing its futuristic 4D line with the release of the ZX 4000 4D “Easy Mint.” The ’80s-inspired runner is given the highlighter treatment this time around, sporting an upper dressed in “Hi-Res Yellow,” “Linen Green” and “Easy Mint” hues.
Contrasting blue suede overlaying panels have been used to highlight the eyestay and mid-panel wraparound section, while off-white has been used for the shoe’s interior lining and heel-toe panels. The rear-quarter heel panel has been laser-etched with the sneaker’s moniker, while the lateral forefoot panel has been stitched on using contrasting orange thread, a theme which is carried round to the back and eyestay for extra embroidered detailing.
A leather lace lock also sporting the ZX 4000 4D tag appears in a soft blue-grey hue, and a set of “Linen Green” laces bring the pair together. The retro-futuristic offering is finished with adidas’ now-signature 4D sole unit, which is made from an energy-returning combination of light, oxygen and liquid resin.
Take a look at the adidas ZX 4000 4D in “Easy Mint” in the gallery above and pick it up from retailers such as Afew Store for €299.95 EUR (approx. $330 USD) on August 22.
