Netflix's 'Enter the Anime' Documentary Explores the History and Rise of the Genre
Will also include exclusive interviews from Kozo Morishita, Yoko Takahashi, Shinji Aramaki, and more.
Netflix has announced its latest documentary venture, Enter the Anime, which will explore the history and rise of the much loved genre.
Originating in Japan, anime‘s presence has seen travelled across the globe, garnering numerous admirers from all walks of life. The documentary will feature Tania Nolan, a newcomer to the anime genre, and will aim to give the unique animation style more mainstream exposure and understanding.
Enter the Anime will also take a look at Netflix’s original and licensed anime content including Castlevania, Aggretsuko, Kengan Ashura and more. Exclusive interviews with anime’s biggest names will also be included such as Kozo Morishita (Saint Seiya), Yoko Takahashi (Neon Genesis Evangelion) and Shinji Aramaki (Fullmetal Alchemist).
Enter the Anime will premiere on Netflix starting August 5.
