The WOAW Store Releases The Skateroom’s Artist Skateboard Sets

The WOAW Store in Hong Kong is now stocking The Skateroom’s collaborative skateboard editions with Ai Weiwei, the Jean-Michel Basquiat estate, and Steven Harrington. For Weiwei, the influential artist’s Study of Perspective – White House photograph is emblazoned on three decks to form one composition when mashed together. Moreover, Basquiat’s Trumpet artwork is featured in another triptych while Harrington’s psychedelic Rosé visual is embellished in another.

Michael Reeder & Print Them All Launch Last Gasp Lithographs
Release Date: April 16 at 9 a.m. PDT on Print Them All’s website
Release Price: $550 USD each and $990 USD for the set
Michael Reeder teamed up with Print Them All on a series of limited lithographs. Entitled Last Gasp, the collaborative offering consists of two unique editions in red and blue. Reeder’s signature pattern elements surround a life-like portrait with smoke billowing from its eyes to complete the shared composition. Altogether, each hand-cut edition measures 38.19 inches by 29.92 inches, made using four colors printed with a Marinoni press, and limited to 99 units per variant.
Tomokazu Matsuyama & Avant Arte to Drop Two Limited Edition Prints

Japanese artist Tomokazu Matsuyama joined forces with Avant Arte on two limited-edition prints: She’s So Sweet Ride and Jaded Sunshine. Both tondo pieces are set to arrive in an edition of 75, the works spotlight Matsuyama’s intricate compositions that merge pop culture visuals and traditional Japanese motifs. Materials-wise, the 73 centimeters-in-diameter prints were made using mixed media and screen printed with pearlescent and high gloss for a sleek finish.
Ari Marcopolous Releases New Entropy Book at LA Book Fair

Multifaceted artist Ari Marcopoulous presented his latest book entitled Entropy at the Los Angeles Book Fair. The body of work features portraits, street scenes, and landscapes from Marcopoulous’ past travels in international cities such as Tokyo, Lebanon, New Orleans, Brooklyn, as well as across the California coast. Nina Chanel Abney Creates Exclusive Coachella T-Shirts for Pusha T

This Monday, Nina Chanel Abney took to Instagram to unveil exclusive long-sleeve T-shirts designed especially for Pusha T to wear during his Coachella performance. The tees are embellished with the artist’s saturated motifs portraying skiers, lettering, and color-blocking that draws comparisons to vintage Polo Sport graphics. Only 200 tees are available.
