Following on from last year’s HEATTECH-focused collaborative release, Alexander Wang and UNIQLO have announced the next installment of their ongoing partnership. The new collection builds on the LifeWear theme of the collaboration, and focuses on UNIQLO’s innovative AIRism fabric.

The menswear element of the collection includes T-shirts, tank tops and underwear, all of which come with a premium cotton finish and an AIRism interior, making this the first cotton blend AIRism for men. The womenswear capsule also uses the innovative material in new ways, including the sheerest-ever AIRism — to feel like a “second skin” — and a seamless AIRism designed for both indoor and outdoor wear.

Speaking about the collection, Wang explained that “innovation has always been at the forefront of our design and creative process, and functionality serves a huge purpose in the way I and our customers dress. Therefore, through the influence of innovation, technology and functionality, the special AIRism collection was born.”

Take a look at the collection in the gallery above, and expect it to release at UNIQLO’s web store and physical stores across the world on April 11.
