Zack Fox Releases Farcical Single & Video "The Bean Kicked In"
The comedian meets rapper closes out 2019 with a new cut.
Comedy-rap pioneer Zack Fox has had an interesting breakout year after recruiting police officer/producer Kenny Beats for a ridiculously outlandish collaborative effort on “Jesus Is The One (I Got Depression)” and “Square Up.” Known formally as a comedian, Fox also happens to be the illustrator behind Awful Records — the Atlanta-based label of equally outlandish rapper Father. Now to close out 2019, Fox has returned with his farcical demeanor in a new single and video titled “The Bean Kicked In.”
Produced by Nedarb, the song is a collage of everything from peaking on substances to talking about Jordan Peele’s Get Out, Janet Jackson’s nipple incident, and even African-American incarceration rates. The Alex Russell directed video for the track doesn’t fail to highlight Fox’s absurd persona either — he takes to the freeway in a Tesla Model X as he sleeps at the wheel, eats cereal, paints his nails, and more.
