With Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, the final chapter of the epic Skywalker Saga, set to release next month, Star Wars has just shared special look video that pays homage to the beloved franchise.
Running in at two-and-a-half-minutes, the video showcases how Star Wars has impacted pop culture for over 40 years and includes visuals of the cast, backstage rehearsals, fans from all over the world, and much, much more. The clip also contains a few behind-the-scenes glimpses of the new movie — including the reveal that Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda will have a role in the new film after helping write music for Star Wars: The Force Awakens — along with the franchise’s appearances in Spaceballs, The Simpsons, Family Guy, The Muppets, and Phineas & Ferb. Additionally visuals of past U.S. Presidents Ronald Reagan and Barack Obama searching for Star Wars is also included.
The epic conclusion to the Skywalker saga, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker hits theaters December 20.
