1017 ALYX 9SM and Guidi Release Italian-Crafted Zip Boots
Offered in three colorways.
After a knitted sock-sneaker hybrid and a rubberized knee-high edition, 1017 ALYX 9SM is giving its latest pair of boots a premium leather makeover with the help of Italian-based label Guidi. Like ALYX’s other chunky footwear, the hefty “Front Zip Boot” sits atop a sturdy Vibram sole, while the upper is offered in three distinctive colorways of black, white and yellow.
The shoes are handmade in Italy and crafted with vegetable tanned leather that comes straight from Tuscany. A silver-tone zipper lines the front of the boot as the key design, while an “ALYX” logo is printed on the zipper pull for subtle branding. Each style is tumble-dyed in order to achieve its respective color, lending slight variations in tone from one boot to another for a unique finish.
