Psychedelic Graphics Dominate Brain Dead & The North Face FW19 Capsule
Reimagining some of TNF’s most iconic styles.

Shortly after releasing its Winter 2019 collection, Brain Dead is continuing its cold weather focus by unveiling its latest collaboration with The North Face. Centered around expedition, the special range draws from TNF’s heritage and introduces an expression of expedition dominated by psychedelic motifs and colors.
The North Face icons including the Denali, Nuptse and Mountain Jacket, have been reimagined to reflect the counterculture and renaissance of creativity of the California hippy movement found in the Bay Area in the 1960s and 70s. Graphics and details featured throughout the range provide a handcrafted feeling not often associated with The North Face. Bringing the selection back to Brain Dead’s streetwear leaning are hoodies and T-shirts marked with TNF branding and informative prints placed in unique ways.
According to Brain Dead co-founder Kyle Ng, “With this collaboration, we wanted to reimagine the concept of the expedition as more of a state of mind. Adventure through ideas.”
Priced between $50 and $500 USD, the Brain Dead x The North Face FW19 capsule will be available November 29 at Dover Street Market Los Angeles. The collaboration will also be released on thenorthface.com, wearebraindead.com, HBX and at select retailers December 6.
For more contemporary fashion, Prada and adidas has officially unveiled its Superstar and Bowling Bag collaboration.
