Wonders' FW19 Collection Is a Time Capsule of the '90s
Inspired while on a trip to the cottage in Southern Ontario.

Wonders is back this Fall/Winter 2019 seasons with truly nostalgic collection lookbook. Deviating from its customary military and workwear-infused silhouettes, designer Davidson Manaloto took inspiration from a visit to an old cottage located in Southern Ontario, Canada. Filled with clothing and items from his time growing up, each box he opened took him back to the ’90s, all the while shifting his focus back onto an art form that heavily impacted his upbringing — music.
Pulling from past kitschy graphical shirts, CD art, and gym clothes, this collection sings of youth, while homing in on the grunge music and pop culture of the ’90s era. Details include a special waistband derived from the elasticated bands found in boxers and pajama pants. Whimsical graphics of daisies and happy faces can be found across the number of plaid shirts, beefy hoodies, and exaggerated outerwear.
