Stormzy Presents the Story of His Life in 'Gang Signs & Prayer' Short Film
The visual companion to his recent LP.
Continuing to support his incredibly successful debut studio album, UK champion Stormzy has unveiled a short film to go along with his 2017 project. Featuring the same title as the album it accompanies, Gang Signs & Prayer presents the trials and tribulations of Stormzy’s life over the course of 15 minutes. Written and directed by visual artist Rollo Jackson, Stormzy’s new visual features the soundtrack of LP cuts “Return of the Rucksack,” “Bad Boys,” and “100 Bags.”
“There are so many things that steer us in the wrong direction however, we decide what happens in our own lives and like my album, I endeavored for this film to portray just that,” Stormzy explains. “I’ll let the visual do the talking.”
