Because Frank Ocean released his “visual album” Endless on Def Jam a day before dropping Blonde independently, people thought that Endless was released only for the fulfillment of the singer’s record contract with the label. The source shares: “He didn’t want to be on the label. He wanted to do his own thing. I’m sure there was some kind of negotiation in order for him to get out of the contract if there were remaining commitments on the contract.” Check out the full story here.
