Arca and Hood By Air's Shayne Oliver Reveal Collaborative Project Wench
The 15-minute video offers new music amd edits of Chemical Brothers, Cher, Arthur Russell, Crystal Castles.
Following his soundtrack called Sheep for Hood By Air’s fashion show at Pitti Uomo in Florence and his runway debut for the brand at Paris Fashion Week, Arca has teamed up with HBA honcho Shayne Oliver to record a new album under the new moniker Wench. Along with this announcement, the duo shares a 15-minute video by frequent collaborator Jesse Kanda. It features edits of Chemical Brothers, Cher, Arthur Russell, Crystal Castles, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, t.A.T.u. and Chris Clark songs. While further details have yet to be revealed, you can preview the band’s sonic direction in the clip below, courtesy of Dazed and stay tuned for Arca’s upcoming new album, called Mutant, to arrive later this year.
