During last night’s MTV VMAs, The Weeknd starred in a brand new two-part Apple Music commercial. Hot on the heels of Beauty Behind The Madness, the two one-minute spots kick off with the Canadian crooner coming off-stage from his performance before hopping in a John Travolta-driven limo and listening to Beats 1 Radio while checking out his own artist page on Apple Music Connect. The piece then goes on to showcase an afterparty — complete with “The Hills” blasting from the stereo — before finishing with the tagline “It’s all in your head. Create your own party. Unlimited music for $9.99.”

As Mac Rumors points out, The Weeknd has been one of the most played artists on Beats 1 Radio since it went live at the end of June — and that will only continue with the release of BBTM.
