Named amongst BBC’s 2015 Sound of The Year list, 19-year-old Låpsley premiered her new single “Hurt Me” last night as Annie Mac’s “Hottest Record In The World” on her Radio 1 show. With her distinctly mature vocals, the British songstress displays a bitter vulnerability of a lovelorn relationship through her electronically-tinged ballad. A commendable single from the young artist, “Hurt Me” will be released on October 9 through XL Recordings.
