California rapper Duckwrth linked up with Alex Fitts of The Kickdrums for a catchy new track titled “Psycho.” The track will appear on their collaborative project Nowhere, which is set to drop on August 21. “Psycho” is catchy, incorporating memorable melodies and rhythmic cadences over a melancholic yet groovy instrumental. Listen to the track below, make sure to cop the project when its out and read what Duckwrth had to say about the conception of the song.

Last year, I crash landed in Brooklyn from San Francisco and connected with hip hop music producer, The Kickdrums. We spent the last year linking up and creating new music and discovered we had a chemistry that transcended genres. From this chance meeting came a project that has helped me evolve as an artist and creative and a body of work I am proud to unveil to the world. The album’s concept is something like traveling on a road called “No Where” to reach a destination called “Now Here”, but to get there you have to destroy some things, break some hearts, teach and learn, discover your strengths and weaknesses and evolve as a person. Along the way you realized “Now Here” is the infinite journey and there is no “true” destination. We can only hope to evolve and advance as Hu(e)mans, U ARE NOWHERE.
