Drake Was "Stuck in Traffic" & Missed Accepting His Best Hip-Hop Video Award at the 2016 VMAs
Sean “Diddy” Combs accepted the moonman on his behalf.
Drake may have made it in time to the 2016 MTV VMAs to present Rihanna with the Video Vanguard award, but earlier in the night, heavy traffic prevented him from being there to accept his Best Hip Hop Video award. Presented by Sean “Diddy Combs,” it was the first moonman to be awarded on the night. Combs covered for Drizzy, accepting the award on his behalf and explaining that he was stuck in traffic. Drake also missed Rihanna’s first two performances, the second of which included a sensual rendition of their hit collaboration “Work.” See footage of the amusing incident below.
