While André 3000 is testing our patience when it comes to releasing new music, his acting career seems to be far more active. As Billboard reports, the OutKast artist is costarring in the second season of American Crime. He is set to play Michael Lacroix, a wealthy architect and one-half of a power couple (his wife Terri is played by Regina King). The season synopsis highlights their fight to defend their son when he becomes entangled in a scandal at an elite private school.

American Crime is an Emmy-nominated anthology directed by John Ridley. Ridley and André previously collaborated on the Jimi Hendrix biopic All Is By My Side, in which Benjamin played the iconic rock artist.
