Amid news of a financial troubles and overall negative press, 50 Cent looks to reverse the tide by releasing new music. Along with a sonic return to his vintage sound on “9 Shots,” 50 travels back through his storied career in the song’s cinematic accompaniment, as he reenacts his infamous 2000 shooting in his home of New York. Clocking in at under six minutes, the elucidative video is directed by Eif Rivera, and includes cameo appearances by G-Unit members Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo.
