The Vans Highland Construct Model Goes for a Mixed & Patched Look
The deconstructed trend takes another step forward.

The deconstructed trend continues with the latest drop from Vans. Following its recent “Cap LX” Pack, Vans uses its Highland Construct model to carry out the unfinished theme. Contrasting black and white make up the majority of the upper as it rests atop a retro-style gum rubber outsole. On its heel, you’ll find Vans’ signature checkerboard pattern with a “No Minimum” slogan hit on the heel’s lateral side. The theme is continued with an inside-out tongue that shares production info with an “Off The Wall” ribbon which hangs over the quarter panel.
Retailing for $85 USD, the Vans Highland Construct is currently available at select retailers such as Rock City Kicks. Followers of Vans can also take a look at its BMX division’s “For The Search” collection alongside Roche.
