Ellie Goulding - The Writer (Friends Electric Remix)

Honoring the forthcoming release of Ellie Goulding’s new single “The Writer”, emerging British electro-pop outfit Friends Electric turned in their very own interpretation of the song which you can hear below. The synth-heavy rework boasts Balearic elements that compliment the song’s vivid energy. The original version, which marks the fourth single off her debut LP Lights, is for the eclectic singer of utmost importance.

It is the most personal and emotional song I’ve written yet. It’s about how you’d do anything and change absolutely everything about yourself if necessary, just to be noticed by this one person.
