Cam'ron Drops New Verse on Instagram About Big L's Suspected Murderer
Is there more to the story than we know?

Just a few weeks after announcing a November release date for his upcoming album Killa Season 2, Cam’ron has taken to Instagram for a glimpse of what we can expect from his new material. In a short black-and-white clip, the Harlem emcee raps about the death of his fellow Children of the Corn member Big L, paying tribute but also hinting that there’s more behind the story of his accused killer:
“139 Park, we started off as children / Grew up with Big L, and the dude who supposedly killed him / A week before that, though, Big L tried to kill him / What was he to do? / When the time’s right I will tell you about these villains / Now everybody dead, so it ain’t about squealing.”
Back in 1999, Big L died after being shot in the face and chest nine times. 17 years later, prime suspect Gerard Woodley was killed in Harlem, and Cam’ron surprised everyone by attending Woodley’s funeral. We’ll be holding out for his full side of the story. Watch the Instagram clip below.
