Hear The Avalanches' New Track "Subway"
Our third taste of the Australian outfit’s highly-anticipated second album ‘Wildflower.’
After teasing the track through a telephone hotline, The Avalanches have continued their epic comeback with a third single from their long-awaited second studio album Wildflower. Following on from “Frankie Sinatra” (featuring Danny Brown and MF DOOM) and the Toro Y Moi collaboration “If I Was A Folkstar,” ”Subway” is a disco-tinged alternative anthem that samples Chandra’s “Subways” and Graham Bonnet’s take on the Bee Gee’s “Warm Ride.” The song is also accompanied by animated illustrations by Emi Ueoka.
