Spotify's New Codes Feature Makes It Even Easier to Share Music
Spotify Codes is being rolled out to all iOS and Android users now.
Spotify has announced its latest feature, Spotify Codes, that aims to make sharing music even easier. Spotify Codes allow playlists to be shared between users and enable you to share your profile’s code on social media, or you can take a screenshot and import a code posted by an artist. The new codes will also appear on flyers, posters and billboards. To get to Spotify Codes, tap the “…” menu in the app and a code will be added to the bottom of the artwork. To scan a code form someone else’s account, click on the new camera icon near the search bar and scan the artwork; you will be immediately redirected to the playlist or album that you’re looking for. The new Spotify Codes feature is being rolled out to all iOS and Android users now.
As well as this latest innovation, Spotify has also recently started delaying album releases for its free users.
