This new sneaker pack nods to the tradition of recording football games on VHS tapes, whose retro video aesthetic is reflected in the custom color bar-inspired Three Stripes branding.
The Trimm Star originally debuted in 1971 as a lightweight training shoe and now returns in the same classic shape. This 2018 “Black” colorway boasts a premium suede upper with red, green and blue Three Stripes, gold foil adidas branding, a white leather heel tab, black leather lining and a black cup sole.
The adidas Originals Trimm Star “VHS” will release in “Black” on May 15 exclusively at size?. The “Cream” pair, which was originally set to launch on May 4, has a new release date of June 1. For more classic models, the adidas Originals Rascal in “Core Black”, white and off-white colorways have received a release date.
