Calling Busta Rhymes’ music career a succession of comebacks would do no justice to this man’s legacy. Bussa Bus is one of the few rap artists that have influenced the Hip Hop landscape for the past 15 years. For every new album, he prepared a firing club single that has been welcomed throughout the world. His latest banger, “Stop The Party” featuring the always convincing Swizz Beatz, is no exception. The Iron Man 2-inspired track coincided with the movie’s theatrical release last friday and most probably has already caused for some major ruckus in the clubs past weekend. Other noteworthy efforts that surprised us last week were turned in by Kate Perry, who enlisted Snoop Dogg for her Westcoast-version of “Empire State Of Mind”. Also Bruno Mars, whose solo cut “The Other Side” delivers further proof of this young man’s undeniable talent. Lady Gaga unleashed the studio version of her concert-favorite “Future Love” whereas Uffie and Pharrell Williams have received a Baile Funk-treatment for “ADD SUV”.
