BMW Brings M Performance Parts to the M2 Competition
Decked out in pearly white with loads of carbon fiber additions.

As if 2019’s M2 Competition wasn’t badass enough, BMW is upping the ante, unveiling its M Performance package for the 450 horsepower coupe.
Naturally, carbon fiber additions abound and shed weight for everything from the hood, roof, and trunk to the front splitter, side skirts, rear diffuser, rear lip spoiler, and rear wing — not to mention the grilles, vents, mirror caps, door sills, and engine cover, too. Joining all the carbon fiber options is a new suspension package that includes ride-lowering coil-over springs, adjustable dampers, and upgraded brakes — six-piston calipers in the front, four-piston in the rear. Those brakes are coupled with 19-inch wheels dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. Finally, a new onboard telemetry system is included along with metal pedals, Alcantara, carbon fiber trim, and a steering wheel with an integrated Race Display.
Expect the M Performance Parts to be available for customization of the M2 Competition when it launches later this summer.
