Azealia Banks Could Be Banned From UK
The Home Office is investigating racist tweets she sent to Zayn Malik.

Azealia Banks could face serious legal consequences thanks to the controversial tweets she sent to Zayn Malik yesterday. According to media reports, the Twitter rant, which contained racist language, is now being by the Home Office, which could result in the Harlem native being banned from entering the UK. Courtesy of NME comes following statement from the Home Office:
“Coming to the UK is a privilege, and we expect those who come here to respect our shared values. The Home Secretary has the power to exclude an individual if she considers that his or her presence in the UK is not conducive to the public good or if their exclusion is justified on public policy grounds.”
Before deleted every single tweet from her account, Banks shared her own statement last night, defending the “angry” racist tweets, which also led to her removal from Rinse FM’s Born & Bred Festival lineup.
“I said what I said to Zayn because I was angry,” she wrote. “I had to remind him that we were both in the same boat in this industry and people of colour.”
