As you should already know by now, a new week brings forth a new Weekly Set by Hypetrak. Miami’s Rick Ross resides at last week’s top with his signature flow added to Erykah Badu’s current single “Window Seat” off her new album New Amerykah Pt. II (Return Of The Ankh). Although the remix is not officially approved the boss added a new blend to the sultry single that has been appreciated by you. Indie rock band the Black Keys have apparently struck your nerve with their new song “Next Girl”. The track offers some vintage elements by the group in form of smart garage rock combined with a little soul. Although never really appreciated by Common 88-Keys’ clever remix to the rapper’s cut “Testify” off his 2005-album Be has convinced you and even Kanye West himself. It comes to no surprise that 9th Wonder’s rhyming skills draws heavy interest among our readers. Hence, his and Murs’ collaborative ode to Asian beauties marked the fourth spot in our list and surpassed some high-profile names in our selection. People have been patiently awaiting B.o.B. debut effort The Adventures of Bobby Ray . With an eventual release in sight, the ATLien unleashed a finished version of his fan-favorite “Satellite” that initially appeared last year. The track came along with a link to pre-order his album. Since “Satellite” marked a high ranking on Hypetrak’s current set, it could indicate that the longplayer will be in heavy demand once it arrives at the retailers on April 27th. Following artists have also made an impact with their respective tracks on our site during the past seven days. Soulful crooner The-Dream and legendary Hip Hop duo Reflection Eternal delivered further teasers for their upcoming albums whereas J. Cole released a track that is said to date back from 2007. Additionally Guilty Simpson’s Madlib-laced tribute to the late J Dilla and a Diplo remix for future UK pop-sensation Sunday Girl have proven their relevance among our readers as well. Enjoy music.
