HBO's 'Sharp Objects' Teaser Trailer Stars an Unhinged Amy Adams
Her first TV series since a stint on ‘The Office.’
HBO will see Amy Adams star in its upcoming Sharp Objects adaptation alongside Pretty Little Liars director Jean-Marc Vallee, and a new trailer for the series has just debuted. Based on the book of the same name from Gone Girl author Gillian Flynn, this limited series follows Adams’ Camille Preaker, a mentally unstable reporter covering the murder of two young girls in her small hometown. As the investigates, she begins to find parallels between her past and the two preteen girls in this psychological thriller.
The eight-episode series is poised to premiere sometime this July.
