Emika - Double Edge

Ninja Tunes’s Emika has recently unveiled the video to her single “Double Edge”. No word yet on Emika’s debut album, but this track will see release on 12-inch vinyl and as a download on May 10 via Ninja Tune. Here are some details on the video that you can see above

Is ignorance bliss? That’s the question Emika asks on the second single from her forthcoming and eagerly awaited debut album.
The video for ‘Double Edge’ is a live performance filmed via webcam between London and Berlin, where Emika is based.
The sounds and vocals on the track were recorded at Die Teufelsberg in Berlin (‘Devil’s Mountain’), an artificial hill that was used as US listening station after the Second World War. It was built on top of the rubble of Berlin during the following twenty years as the city was rebuilt but is now abandoned.
