Update on Guru's Health Condition

After suffering from a massive heart attack last month and reportedly went into a coma Guru, born Keith Elam, has issued another statement regarding his health condition, which doctors recently upgraded to stable.

Due to his history of having lung problems and asthma the Gang Starr rapper was diagnosed as having Anoxia. To the relief of his family and fans worldwide Guru is not in a coma and is currently recovering.

The information comes from MC Solar, who reportedly came into question, after the rapper’s nephew Justin Nicholas-Elam Ruff asserted that Guru’s label partner blocked family members away from seeing him.

According to Solar, the continuous love and support from his fans helped Guru to fight his illness:

“The outpouring of love from around the world has been tremendous,” Solar said. “I’m reading some of the best e-mails, texts and Twitters that come in and Guru enjoys them. I think that’s what has been helping his recovery and what’s got him in there fighting.”
