SAENAI Debuts Spring/Summer 2018 "Imaginary Boys" Lookbook
Teaming up with Brooklyn local skate youth.

SAENAI has revealed its Spring/Summer 2018 collection lookbook, titled “Imaginary Boys,” which draws inspiration from Gregg Araki’s 1995 cult film The Doom Generation. The visual narrative — photographed by Fanny Nunn and art directed by DaRaun Crawford — enlists local skate youth from Bedford Stuyvesant Brooklyn to give a view from the “scope/lens of youth culture, sex, violence and rebellion.”
The collection consists of casual cut-and-sew pieces and graphic T-shirts. The lookbook offers both black and white monochrome outfits as well as more bold ensembles featuring gradient-died jackets, checkerboard print shirts and color-blocked pieces.
