Zeek Earl and Chris Caldwell’s short Prospect will be getting the feature film treatment. Originally debuting as a short film at SXSW in 2014 and returning this year on March 10, the story follows a father alongside his daughter as they mine a forest on an alien moon.

After a while, they soon realize they aren’t the only competition as the job quickly turns into a fight for survival. The film has been called a coming of age story, as the father’s greed for profit forces his daughter to carve her own path in order to escape the hostile inhabitants. Prospect stars Pedro Pascal, Andre Royo, Sheila Vand, and Anwan Glover. Check out the trailer above and share your thoughts below. In related news, Christopher Nolan predicts Black Panther will be nominated for Best Picture next year.
