Kendrick Lamar posted a message early Thursday morning on his social media displaying a cryptic “IV.” Of course fans instantly took notice and speculated Lamar would be dropping his fourth album soon, following 2015’s To Pimp a Butterfly. Shortly after this cryptic message, Lamar dropped a new single “The Heart Part 4” which is the latest installment of his “The Heart” series that first began in 2010. The track has Lamar delivering a warning to an unnamed rapper, or rappers, and seemingly reveals the release date for his next album. Check out the video above posted by Genius to see who the shots were fired at.
