NBC Wants Kanye West to Be the New Face of 'American Idol'
The offer is said to be “very hard to refuse.”
After a solid 15-year run, Fox cancelled American Idol after its last episode on April 7, 2016. Now nearly a year later, it appears NBC is looking to relaunch the popular singing competition television series with the help of none other than Kanye West. According to reports, the network is seeking out West to be a judge on the proposed relaunch of the show. NBC has reportedly offered West an undisclosed figure that would be “very hard to refuse.” Meanwhile, it should also be noted that ‘Ye is no stranger to American Idol.
