As an appetizer for their forthcoming second LP In The Evening Air North Carolina-based “post wave” trio Future Islands offer a 12” entitled In The Fall. Its title track is a downcast synth ballad featuring Celebration’s Katrina Ford. The melancholic song doesn’t probably suit the freshly arrived spring season but it is still worth a listen nonetheless. In The Fall is due April 6th whereas Future Island’s full-length offering will be released on May 4th via Thrill Jockey.
