Dan Harmon Reveals 'Rick and Morty' Season 4 Status

Just within three seasons, Adult Swim‘s Rick and Morty has quickly risen to a level of cult status, but it turns out things aren’t going swimmingly for the possible fourth season. In a response to a tweet criticizing Harmon’s ability to write the next season, he responded with confirmation that season four hasn’t yet been officially ordered by a network. While the timely writing process caused fan petitions last year for season 3, the hiatus abruptly ended as the first episode surprise-aired on April Fools’ Day — also stirring up the Szechuan sauce craze for McDonald’s. Check out Harmon’s tweet below, which will most likely leave the diehard fanbase shook in the meantime.
