Tyga Only Does Music to Sit With the Gods

In a recent interview with Yahoo! Style titled “This ‘Rack City’ Rapper Wants You to Know He’s More Than Just Kylie Jenner’s Boyfriend,” Compton rapper Tyga talked about his maniacal work ethic and how that separates him from his peers. He boasts about his uniqueness, and how comparing yourself to others will cause one to lose faith: “Even though so many people are doing music, I still feel like what I do is not comparable. It can’t be duplicated. When you start looking at all the other people, that’s you losing your faith in what you’re supposed to do.” He claims that he is just now entering his prime, and is driven only by one goal: “Everything that I’ve done to this point doesn’t even matter. When I hear ‘Rack City,’ it doesn’t even matter. I’m only doing this to sit with the gods.
