Maison Margiela Gives Its Side-Zip Tabi Boots a Painted Makeover

While its Tabi footwear has served as a womenswear staple for quite some time, Maison Margiela is now looking to push the split toe silhouette on its menswear side.
Most recently, the French luxury fashion house dressed the men’s Side-Zip Tabi Boot in its signature painted look. The austere ankle-length footwear option is constructed of white-painted calfskin and features a white side zipper and unique split toe design. Finishing up the piece of footwear art is a flat leather sole and contrasting tan-leather lining.
