LCD Soundsystem Announce First Live Show of 2017
It’s “Time to Get Away.”

Five years ago, one of the most greatly loved, dance-punk bands of the early 2000s decided to call it quits. LCD Soundsystem released (what would be at the time) their final studio album, threw a memorable farewell concert, put out an epic worthy documentary, left the studio and remained forever in our hearts. After answering fans’ prayers by announcing a comeback tour, the band just announced its first show of 2017.
LCD Soundsystem will be headlining the Forecastle Festival taking place in Louisville, Kentucky from July 14 – 16, 2017. The festival will also feature performances by Vince Staples, Waka Flocka Flame and Weezer. Hopefully this means a new LCD Soundsystem album will be dropping soon.
